BISHOP WILLIAM ROGERS
Honorary Street Sign Milwaukee, WI.
My father, Bishop William Rogers, is a shining example of faith, perseverance, and servant-leadership. After devoting over 55 years to uplifting others, he has been honored with an honorary street sign. This is an enduring tribute to his remarkable ministry as the Senior Pastor and Founder of the Bethlehem Temple Church, 222 East Center Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His life’s work has touched countless souls, strengthened families, and transformed the community in ways that will echo for generations. We celebrate his legacy with deep gratitude and heartfelt admiration.
My youngest sibling, Dr. Tonya Rogers, and my eldest daughter, Reverend Dr. L. Ruth Simpson (Lolo), celebrated our father’s fifty-five years of service to the community. To honor his work, the City of Milwaukee awarded him an honorary street sign. The sign reads “Honorary Bishop William Rogers” and covers seven blocks: from Second and Center Street to First Street. It also includes the area near the church between Hubbard and Palmer Streets, as well as Richard, Buffum, and Holton Streets. To God be the glory!
