The spiritual fruit of goodness enables sinful man to do good and to be good. Good in the truest sense of the word. Goodness, after all, is the essence of God's nature.

Yes, according to the Bible, badness comes naturally (Romans 8:7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  Goodness does not. But God has a wondrous plan to radically transform our character!
